Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel is confident Chelsea will qualify for the last-8 at the expense of Barcelona, despite playing a 1-1 draw in England.

The Tianjin Teda midfielder remembers the 2012 season, where Chelsea had to comeback to win on away goals at the Camp Nou.

And Mikel, who was a part of that squad and went on to win the UCL after dumping Barcelona out of the competition, believes Chelsea can do it again.

“I have played for Chelsea for 11 years and that comeback I will remember for the rest of my life,” Mikel told Tianjin Today Evening News.

“Obviously I will continue to support Chelsea as always and hopefully they will go through into the next round.

“I believe they will knock out Barcelona on their own ground, just like we did in 2012.”
